Rose Kamyab is a medical student at McGill University. She has devoted much of her time to science communications and to research in the field of Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. The majority of Rose's work outside of science and medicine is comprised of policy analysis, political campaigning and to bringing equal access to STEM education to youth from underprivileged backgrounds.
Razan Marachli holds a degree in RTA media production with a specialization in the podcast industry. Her unwavering passion for promoting mental and physical health is channeled through her storytelling skills, as evidenced by her diverse range of projects. Razan's creative endeavors delve deep into these essential themes, aiming to unravel their importance.
Her professional journey extends beyond health advocacy, having created various different projects that tackle these social issues. She has developed an interactive short film centered around mental health, effectively fostering meaningful dialogues. Additionally, she has also worked on a documentary that explores the diaspora experience.
Coming of age in the Middle East, Razan has witnessed firsthand the shadows cast by the stigma surrounding mental health. Her personal narrative fuels a commitment to dismantling this stigma, which she firmly believes has been neglected for far too long. At the core of her aspirations lies the dedicated mission to uplift CHFI's Let’s Move Canada podcast.
Within this role, Razan is committed to raising the voices of inspirational guest speakers who advocate for physical and mental well-being.
Penny is a Media Production student at Toronto Metropolitan University working towards becoming a graphic designer. Currently a social media intern for CHFI, Penny is passionate about digital design, colour, and typography. When she isn’t making graphics for social media or animations on YouTube, Penny likes to hike, roller skate, and play tennis.
Luidgi is the Marketing and Communications Lead at Canadian Health and Fitness Institute (CHFI). He primarily focuses on strategically identifying and applying marketing and communication plans for CHFI-related projects. He is currently a Master of Professional Communications candidate at Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson University. Originally from Haiti and primarily raised in the U.S., he can speak, read, and write in 6 languages and has work experience in nonprofit management, municipal community engagement, influencer agency marketing, and multilingual public relations and communications.
