The CHFI Board has committed by November 2023 to fill at least four of five Board openings:

1. Fundraising leadership and experience to support CHFI in raising funds to support our Strategic Plan 

2. Partnerships with the private sector and governments to help build further capacity and funding to implement our Plan 

3. Strategic advice to enable CHFI to measure Canada’s progress in its journey to “Becoming the Fittest Nation on Earth by 2030”

4. Communications expertise to help Canadians grasp the importance of physical exercise to our nation and to individuals’ lifespan and “healthspan" 

5. App and mobile expertise to support and advise CHFI in how best to engage Canadians in CHFI’s mission
